The Cascade Kiteboarding Experience
Cascade Kiteboarding runs private kiteboarding lessons out of Stevenson, Washington, at the Port of Skamania waterfront on the Columbia River. This section of the Columbia River provides some of the most steady and consistent winds in the entire Columbia Gorge, with stunning scenery and very little kiteboarding traffic.
Founded by kiteboarding professional and advocate, Tonia Farman, Cascade Kiteboarding caters to individuals looking for a private and more personalized learning experience. The personalization of each lesson is what makes Cascade unique. Each lesson is customized to the student's level, progressing at a comfortable pace, but yet presenting challenges and benchmarks for the student to attain. Every lesson with Cascade after the initial ground lesson is conducted with a waverunner in a remote spot away from other kiteboarders.
Getting more out of your kiteboarding lesson
Many kite schools teach at busy beaches with lots of other lessons going on simultaneously. We take the intimidating factors out of the learn-to-kiteboard learning curve, providing a private, highly-focused experience.
Taking a lesson from Cascade Kiteboarding, you will:
- Learn in a private setting without onlookers or a peanut gallery.
- Learn in consistent, steady winds, which builds confidence and shortens learning curve.
- Learn without any other kite school or lesson traffic.
- Learn with 100% jet ski assistance, all the time.
- Learn on 2008 and 2009 new Liquid Force Kiteboarding Session kites and boards and Dakine harnesses.
- Learn with the goal of long-term success, not just a quick ride without the key skills.
